Job summary

Pennant Solutions Group is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician for an onsite, part-time role in Downtown Richmond, VA. The position supports Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office apps, with emphasis on end-user troubleshooting and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of IT support experience, strong on-site communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of IT Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows desktops and common end-user technologies.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, device imaging, hardware deployment, and user support.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop, laptop, and peripheral support for end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues.
• Respond to and manage support requests through ticketing systems, phone, email, and walk-up support.
• Perform device deployments, imaging, upgrades, replacements, and workstation setups.
• Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Assist with user account administration, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate support records.
