Triumph Services in Downtown Richmond, VA is seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to deliver onsite end-user support in a Microsoft-centric environment. This contract role is part-time (24–32 hours per week) and runs through March 2027, with flexible schedule within on-site requirements.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of IT support experience, an A+ or similar credential, and strong communication skills to resolve issues efficiently at the user’s desk.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT Help Desk or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows desktops and common end-user technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, device imaging, hardware deployment, and user support.
• Excellent communication and customer service; able to work independently onsite.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop, laptop, and peripheral support for end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, mobile device, and connectivity issues.
• Respond to and manage support requests through ticketing systems, phone, email, and walk-up support.
• Perform device deployments, imaging, upgrades, replacements, and workstation setups.
• Support Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and Office applications.
• Assist with user account administration, password resets, and basic Active Directory tasks.
• Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to escape and resolve complex technical issues.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate support records.
