Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable, technically skilled Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-siteIT support to enterprise clients. This role involves responding to service requests when required and providing hands‑on technical assistance for desktop systems, laptops, network connectivity, and peripheral devices at the client location.
This is a contract-based, on-demand position, meaning work assignments will be provided as and when support is required. Availability and responsiveness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
