Job summary

BCIC Swiss GmbH is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist for on-site work in Germany. You will provide on-site desk‑side support, install and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, and assist with Windows OS, Active Directory, and antivirus software.

Responsibilities include delivering Smart Hands support for network devices, troubleshooting LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, RDP, and wireless connectivity, while keeping ticket updates current and escalating complex issues as needed.

Qualifications

1–3 years IT/Desktop Support experience.
Knowledge of Windows OS and Active Directory.
PC hardware knowledge.
CompTIA A+ (preferred).
English & German (B2 or above).
Valid German work permit or EU work authorization.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and deskside support.
Install, troubleshoot, and repair desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
Support Windows OS, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, and antivirus software.
Deliver Smart Hands support for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, RDP, and wireless connectivity.
Maintain accurate ticket updates and escalate complex issues when needed.
