IRMC in Indiana, PA is hiring for a desktop device support role. You will configure, install, and upgrade desktop hardware, software, and operating systems, and oversee software installations on desktops.

You will monitor device usage, generate reports, research new software/hardware, and maintain security and access controls while updating procedural documentation for IS staff. Strong communication with users is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in electronics, computer science, or related field.
• 4 years hands-on desktop device support experience.
• Experience configuring, installing, and upgrading desktop hardware and software.

Responsabilités

• Configure, install, maintain, and upgrade desktop hardware, software, and OS.
• Install or oversee the installation of all software on desktop devices.
• Monitor desktops, collect usage statistics, and produce reports on usage and stability.
• Research, purchase, and implement software/hardware to improve reporting.
• Maintain desktop security and user access at the desktop level.
• Create and update desktop procedures for IS staff.
• Provide support across other technical areas when needed.
