Job summary

Axiom Technologies in Latham, NY seeks a capable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-site IT support for end users, troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, and maintain hardware and software configurations. The role coordinates with the Service Delivery Team to triage tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely resolution while following security policies.

This on-site position requires strong communication, independent work, and a customer-focused approach to keep systems

Qualifications

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops and peripherals.
Install, configure and maintain hardware, OS and enterprise software.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
