Axiom Technologies in Holbrook, NY is seeking a reliable Desktop Support Engineer to provide on-demand, on-site IT support for enterprise clients. You will troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals, install hardware and software, and ensure network connectivity.

This contract-based position requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and adherence to client security policies. Work will be assigned by the Service Delivery Team with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users.
• Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, OS, and enterprise apps.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
