Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a capable Desktop Support Engineer for on-site, contract-based work in Newburgh, NY. You will respond to service requests, troubleshoot Windows desktops and peripherals, and ensure timely, accurate support at the client site.

This on-demand role requires strong communication, independence, and the ability to coordinate with the Service Delivery Team. Immediate start for U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders; dispatch/part-time engagement with no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

Experience providing on-site IT support to enterprise clients.
Ability to resolve desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.
