Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Aurora, CO is seeking a PC Network Support Technician 2 (Desktop Support Tech) to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Aurora, CO location.

Qualifications

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods.

Responsibilities

Exhibits good communication skills and patience with customers.
Creates and manages tickets for support incidents with timely updates and documentation.
Performs relocation of workstations and equipment between campus buildings.
Provides basic diagnostics and analyzes problems.
Resolves technical problems and answers queries via phone for hardware, software, network, and telecom systems.
Uses AD to manage user/computer accounts, resets passwords following security policies.
Maintains inventory records in asset tracking system for all hardware assets.
Participates in new installations, testing and special projects.
Spends significant time away from desk supporting users and moving equipment.
Lifts and moves equipment up to 50 pounds.
