Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Systems Administrator Technician to maintain desktop, server, voice and network hardware across customer sites, ensuring continuous IT services and security. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and DoD IA certification (Security+ CE minimum).

You will collaborate with customers and teams to resolve incidents, implement changes, and keep CMDB documentation up to date. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you provide hands-on hardware

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience.
• DoD IA Certification required: CompTIA Security+ CE is the minimum certification.
• U.S. citizenship required; TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain desktop, server and network hardware to support IT services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and changes per ITIL practices.
• Collaborate with customers and service providers on incident status and resolutions.
• Document changes in CMDB and knowledge articles; update training resources.
• Provide Tier-2 hardware support for ongoing projects and special initiatives.
