Unisys seeks an on-site server hardware specialist to diagnose, repair, and maintain enterprise server systems in customer environments. You will perform hands-on component installation and troubleshooting, working closely with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on enterprise hardware experience, familiarity with BIOS/firmware, iDRAC or similar tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers or data center hardware.
• Direct experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing server components.
• Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, and PCIe GPUs.
• Familiarity with rack-mounted servers in data centers or customer environments.

Aufgaben

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve server hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform hardware installation, removal, and replacement including memory, CPUs, PSUs, and storage.
• Rack-and-stack, cabling, component swaps, and hardware configuration.
• Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware issues and use server management tools; document activities.
