Job summary
Netpace Inc is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to support enterprise data center servers and hardware, including next-generation AI infrastructure. This hands-on role covers diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and maintaining server components in data centers or field service environments.
The position is based in Warren, Ohio, with 8-5 hours, on-call rotations, and occasional shift variations. You will work with Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise hardware, perform rack-and-stack, firmware
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
- Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, or replacing server components.
- Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, cooling, PCIe, GPUs.
- Experience with rack-mounted servers in a data center or customer environment.
- Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other server hardware.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
- Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repair.
- Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware and server management tools.
- Document service activities and resolutions.
- Participate in on-call rotations and communicate status to customers and teams.
