Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking an experienced On-Site Service Engineer to deliver hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including next-generation AI infrastructure. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server components in data centers, field service, or customer sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers and data center hardware.
• Direct, practical work on server components (memory, CPUs, storage, NICs, etc.).
• Experience with hardware diagnostics, BIOS/firmware, and server management tools.
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, travel to customer sites, and work independently in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize customer downtime.
• Perform hardware installation, removal, replacement, and repairs.
• Troubleshoot BIOS/firmware, hardware components, and system issues.
• Execute firmware updates and utilize server management tools such as iDRAC/iLO.
• Document service activities, replacements, and resolutions accurately.
