Job summary

Unisys Corporation is seeking an On-Site Service Engineer to provide hands-on support for enterprise data center servers and hardware environments, including AI infrastructure. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining server hardware in data center, field service, or customer-facing settings.

You will perform hardware installation, component swaps, BIOS/firmware updates, and work with customers and internal teams to drive resolution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise servers.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing server hardware.
• Experience with memory, CPUs, power supplies, storage, RAID/HBA, NICs, fans/cooling, PCIe components or GPUs.
• Familiarity with Linux or similar operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently in customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for Dell PowerEdge and other enterprise server hardware.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware failures to minimize downtime.
• Perform rack-and-stack, installation, cabling, and component swaps.
• Update BIOS/firmware and use server management tools (e.g., Dell iDRAC).
• Document service activities and resolutions; communicate with customers and internal teams.
• Participate in on-call rotations and escalate complex issues as needed.
