Job summary

Ark Data Centers, LLC is seeking an energetic Operations Assistant to join the on-site team at the Duluth Data Center. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while handling administrative tasks and supporting the Data Center Operations group.

Responsibilities include ticket management, shipments, conference room scheduling, security registration, and document control, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a safe, efficient facility.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication, both oral and written.
• Ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Team player in a cooperative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages a ticket queue and esc.
• Manages ordering and stocking of office supplies.
• Performs immediate cleaning duties to maintain a safe facility.
• Assists with maintenance tasks as directed by the DC Operations Director.
• Handles incoming and outgoing shipments, including packing and receiving deliveries.
• Maintains biannual physical access audits for colocation customers.
• Manages conference room reservations for internal or customer use.
• Creates purchase orders and places material orders with vendors.
• Coordinates planned PM events with the DC Manager.
• Handles new customer security registration for facility access.
• Manages temporary badges for visitors/vendors/contractors.
• Escort of visitors/vendors as needed per ticket requests.
• Documents circuit handoffs in the DC Operations workbook.
• Performs document management and QA for DC Operations info.
• Checks PO Box weekly and sorts/delivers mail.
• Stays current with Data Center training per leadership.
• Supports Data Center Audits and Certifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.
