Job summary

ark data centers, LLC is seeking a Data Center Administrator to work under limited supervision and resolve advanced Data Center infrastructure issues. Responsibilities include maintaining security, supporting customers and staff, and troubleshooting all infrastructure systems.

Requires 2-5 years in data center operations, strong communication, and expertise in building automation systems. Travel up to 50% may be involved, with coordination of external vendors and audits.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors and customers.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Must be organized and provide deliverables in support of project plans.
• Firm understanding and operation of building automation systems for all mechanical equipment.
• Interpret processes, flow charts, building plans and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining building security and respond to emergencies on a 24-hour basis.
• Provide support to customers, staff and contractors.
• Perform day-to-day management, updates, maintenance and troubleshooting of all infrastructure systems.
• Monitor contractor performance and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure work meets specifications.
• Oversee monitoring, logging and reporting of Data Center functions.
• Participate in root cause analysis and follow-up to address issues at the root level.
• Work on projects related to operation and maintenance of the Data Center under the Data Center Manager.
