Job summary

EverOn Data Center Services seeks an Assistant Critical Facilities Manager to lead and train a team of technicians, ensuring 100% uptime for critical infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with contractors, managing CMMS, and enforcing safety and change-control processes across 24x7 operations.

The candidate should have a B.A./B.S. in a relevant field or equivalent, with 3–5+ years in mission-critical environments and at least 1 year of people management, ideally in a colocation data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field with 3–5+ years in mission critical environments.
• Minimum 1 year direct management of non-exempt shift-based employees.
• Experience in a colocation data center environment preferred.
• Experience establishing a new colocation data center or data hall preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CFM in operating and maintaining critical and non-critical data center infrastructure and systems.
• Build a staff of CFTs and manage 24x7 coverage with contractors to achieve 100% uptime.
• Monitor power, cooling, and environmental conditions in data halls.
• Provide on-call support for data center emergencies, including on-site responses.
• Manage CMMS data, generate reports, and ensure adherence to SLAs and change controls.
• Plan and coordinate work with clients, and assist with facilities budget and cost estimation.
