Job summary

Ark Data Centers LLC in Akron, OH seeks a Data Center Administrator to perform basic to advanced data center functions under limited supervision. You will troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure problems and provide support to customers, staff and contractors.

Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining systems, coordinating with vendors, reporting incidents, and participating in root-cause analysis.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of data center operations experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers.
• Ability to travel to multiple work-site locations on demand.
• Strong attention to detail and quality of work.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day management, updates, maintenance and troubleshooting of all infrastructure systems.
• Monitor contractor performance and coordinate with outside vendors and contractors.
• Inspect proper monitoring, logging, and reporting of Data Center functions.
• Oversee responses to issues related to Data Center operations and monitoring alarms.
