Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Area Service Manager to lead service operations for the data center market. This role oversees start-up support, warranty execution, repair services and preventive maintenance across multiple sites with a focus on HVAC systems and services.

You will drive service coordination, pricing, and technician development while partnering with sales to grow the service base. Travel to sites as needed is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC or related field experience.
• 3+ years managing large teams and scheduling.
• Project management experience for startups and customer requests.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.
• Valid driver''s license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility with monthly revenue forecasting.
• Drive service agreement growth through collaboration with sales.
• Control overhead expenses for fleet, tools, and safety equipment.
• Mitigate risk in service agreements and repairs.
• Oversee service coordination and technician development.
• Ensure cash flow via prompt invoicing and budget adherence.
• Ensure safety compliance and training for the team.
• Travel to customer sites as required.
