Job summary

Trane Technologies is hiring a Data Center Team Leader to supervise HVAC Field Technicians in mission-critical data centers and high‑reliability facilities. You will oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and startup of advanced HVAC systems to maximize uptime, collaborating with internal teams and customers on new installations and retrofits.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or equivalent preferred.
Minimum five years’ HVAC experience.
Data Center experience preferred with knowledge of L2–L5 project phases.

Responsibilities

Train and develop HVAC Field Technicians with technical guidance.
Assist in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching technicians; support hiring decisions.
Maintain service vehicles and record manuals; perform maintenance as needed.
Prepare for on-site installations by reviewing building layouts and coordinating materials.
Assess area safety requirements and help implement safety policies and training.
Overnight travel to other areas may be required based on business needs.
