Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an Area Service Manager to lead service operations for data centers, overseeing startup, warranty execution, repairs and preventive maintenance of HVAC systems.

You will coordinate with sales on pricing, recruit and train technicians, manage invoicing and collections, and drive customer satisfaction and safety across multiple sites including Valley View, OH; Columbus, OH; Holland, OH; and Pittsburgh, PA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years coaching large teams and scheduling work.
• Project management for startups or customer projects.
• Strong Microsoft applications knowledge; Salesforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations for data center projects from start-up through ongoing maintenance.
• Lead field service coordination and coordinate pricing with sales.
• Drive technician recruitment, training and development.
• Manage invoicing, collections and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Ensure safety, budgeting, and compliance across service teams.
• Travel to client sites as required.
