Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks an Area Service Manager to lead service operations for the Data Center market, coordinating start-ups, warranty work, repairs and preventive maintenance. You’ll partner with sales to price service agreements and support parts/service pricing while driving technician recruitment and development.

Travel to multiple sites is required, with a company vehicle provided. The role emphasizes safety, customer satisfaction and operational excellence across the district.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years experience leading large teams.
• Project management skills to oversee startups and customer requests.
• Tech-savvy with Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for 12+ months with clean record.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility and monthly revenue forecasting.
• Budget control including expenses for overhead items.
• Risk mitigation for service agreements and projects.
• Oversee service coordination and training of technicians.
• Develop employees and drive continuous improvement across the team.
• Ensure invoicing is timely and cash flow is optimized.
