Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an Area Service Manager to oversee service operations in the Data Center market, from startup through ongoing maintenance, with a focus on HVAC systems. You’ll lead field coordination, sales pricing collaboration, and recruiter development.

You will drive service excellence, safety, and customer satisfaction while managing margin expectations and cash flow across multiple sites, potentially traveling between Valley View, Columbus, Holland and Pittsburgh.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years experience managing large teams.
• Project management skills for startups and customer requests.
• Tech‑savvy with Microsoft applications; Salesforce a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record in last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility with monthly revenue forecasting and base growth.
• Oversee service coordination, training, and technician development across district.
• Ensure invoicing, cash flow and expense management align with targets.
• Drive safety, environmental, and process improvements in service operations.
• Support bids with pricing collaboration with sales and ensure customer satisfaction.
