• Must be 21 or older to work in Children's Residential program; Direct Support roles available for 18–21.

• Valid Indiana driver’s license and insurability.
• Must pass background screening and pre-employment drug screen; maintain eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Effectively responds to and manages crisis situations for all Damar programs, taking leadership in de-escalation and intervention when needed.
• Initiates special precautions for clients that exhibit high risk behavior criteria.
• Take appropriate action regarding events affecting residents’ mental and physical well-being, including client and staff support and crisis management.
• Understands behavior support plans for high acuity clients.
