Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program; 18–21 for Direct Support Technician roles.
• Provide formal proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Indiana driver's license and driving record meeting insurance requirements.
• Be clear of felony convictions or disqualifying charges.
• Complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Background screening must be favorably met and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and manage crisis situations for all Damar programs, leading de-escalation and intervention when needed.
• Initiate special precautions for clients showing high risk behavior.
• Take action regarding events affecting residents' mental and physical well-being, including client/staff support and crisis management.
• Understand behavior support plans for high acuity clients.
