Damar Services, LLC in Richmond, IN is seeking a Resource Specialist on-site for a full-time role. The position supports safe client environments and assists direct care staff while developing leadership skills.
Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with schedules including 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 10:00 am–6:00 pm, or 2:00 pm–10:00 pm on first and second shifts. A valid Indiana driver’s license and a high school diploma or GED are required, along with pre-employment screenings.

Damar is currently seeking a Resource Specialist to join our team. Our Resource Specialist position on our is one of Damar's most unique positions, striving to keep the environment safe for our clients, and provide support for our other direct care staff. The essential functions of this position require the physical ability and mobility needed to perform the job. This includes the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods; occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 lbs.; operate office equipment, including a computer keyboard; travel to other locations using private or commercial transportation; and communicate effectively to exchange information.
The position also requires the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to client behaviors, staff instructions, safety concerns, and emergencies in an environment where individuals may display aggressive, self-injurious, sexually maladaptive, elopement, or other unpredictable behaviors.
Regular and acceptable attendance, excluding approved absences and periods of leave, is also an essential function of the position.
