Job summary

Applied Innovation in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a dependable Field Service Technician to join our team in a full-time, Monday–Friday role. You will service and maintain office equipment at customer locations, drive a company vehicle, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Training is provided, and prior field service experience is a plus but not required. This position emphasizes hands-on problem solving, teamwork, and a professional approach to every client interaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.
• Factory certifications (Canon, Ricoh) preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of print drivers and basic network communication is helpful.
• Prior field service or technical repair experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and service a wide variety of multifunctional copier devices.
• Maintain an assigned service territory and provide high responsiveness and service quality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently and accurately.
• Collaborate with technicians and internal teams to meet customer service needs.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and service documentation.
• Follow established service procedures and safety guidelines.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and professionally.
• Represent Applied Innovation positively in all customer interactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
