Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is hiring an on-site Continuous Improvement Engineer in Franklin, IN. The role focuses on data-driven CI, lean methods, slotting, 5S, and automation to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost across operations.

The ideal candidate will drive cross-functional CI projects, conduct data analysis using PowerBI/SQL, and lead Kaizen events to achieve sustained results. This is a salaried, on-site position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in warehousing, transportation or manufacturing; or MBA with undergraduate engineering.
• Experience in Lean/CI methods and data analysis required.
• Strong proficiency in PowerBI, SQL, and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and performs statistical analysis; maps processes and identifies gaps.
• Leads CI projects and coordinates go-lives and certifications.
• Applies lean tools, value stream mapping, and Kaizen events to improve safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Develops competency in engineering methods and coaches others in CI practices.
• Reports progress to site leadership and supports inventory/supply chain strategy.
