Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a seasoned Environmental Health & Safety leader to manage safety on a single construction project. You will partner with EH&S and project teams to enforce company policies and regulatory requirements, lead safe-work training, and guide project teams in managing environmental and hazardous materials reports and conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field, with minimum 4 years of construction safety experience.
• CHST certification required or within 2 years of appointment.
• Completed OSHA 30-hour training and maintain First Aid/CPR/BBP and AED certifications.
• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and local EH&S regulations.
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead EH&S on a single construction project per HQ policy.
• Develop action plans to mitigate risks and drive safety improvements.
• Provide safety training to project teams, subcontractors, and Turner Trade employees.
• Review subcontractor safety programs for compliance with regulations.
• Conduct safety audits, report violations, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project leadership to generate safety reports and drive improvements.
