Job summary

CEC Facilities LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs across project sites in Texas, conducting field walks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding corrective actions to foster a safety culture. The role emphasizes coaching employees and supporting safety performance on construction sites.

The candidate will perform ORM board development, safety audits, incident investigations, and site orientations for new staff, with potential travel and variable shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline a plus.
• 1 - 3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety experience preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Foremen in completing ORM boards and Job Hazard Analyses; document ORM boards daily.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings and corrective actions.
• Interact with field personnel to address safety observations and provide resolution feedback.
• Lead or assist with site safety orientations for new employees.
• Assist site supervision in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Audit power tools and equipment for proper maintenance and safety compliance.
