Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to implement safety programs, conduct field walks, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop project-specific corrective actions to address safety issues. This role requires coaching field personnel and maintaining safety culture on site.

The position involves incident investigations, tool/equipment audits, and collaboration with site supervision to ensure safe operations at construction sites. Travel to project sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety.
• 1–3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction certification required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Foremen in completing ORM boards and JHA development.
• Submit daily Site Safety Audit reports with findings and corrective actions.
• Deliver site safety orientations for new employees.
• Assist with incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Perform periodic audits of power tools and equipment for proper maintenance.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety rules and project requirements.
• Conduct safety training and provide feedback to field teams.
