Job summary

CEC FACILITIES LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Canton, MS to implement safety programs, conduct daily field walks, and oversee regulatory compliance. The role includes coaching employees to foster safe behaviors and a strong safety culture at project sites.

Responsibilities include completing ORM boards, conducting safety audits, investigations, and delivering site-specific safety orientations, with occasional travel to construction sites and potential overtime to align with project

Qualifications

• Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety preferred.
• 1–3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety preferred).
• OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coach Crew Foreman/General Foremen in completing daily ORM boards and development of Job Hazard Analyses.
• Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily with findings, corrective actions and photos.
• Interact with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations and resolutions.
• Assist with site-specific safety orientations for new employees.
