Job summary
Bristol Infrastructure Design Svcs, LLC (BIDS) seeks a Construction Surveillance Engineer (CSE) to support NAVFAC SE HQ, PWD, and ROICC offices across the NAVFAC SE AOR in Florida.
The role requires seven years of construction management/field engineering experience on large facilities and strong CQC knowledge. Responsibilities include inspections, submittal reviews, cost estimates, and field reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum seven (7) years as Construction Manager/Field Engineer on projects >$5M.
- Experience verifying workmanship and construction quality.
- Proficient with scheduling methods and Primavera, MS Project.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; RS Means/CostWorks.
Responsibilities
- Provide management support to FEAD/ROICC for inspections and QA.
- Coordinate outage, permits, routes, and meetings; prepare notes and reports.
- Review submittals and contractor schedules; analyze progress and safety.
- Prepare CRRs and CCCNs; monitor environmental and testing requirements.
- Witness testing on systems and monitor CQC compliance.
- Produce independent construction cost estimates for modifications.
