Bristol Infrastructure Design Services, LLC is seeking a Construction Surveillance Engineering Technician (CSET) to support NAVFAC SE at Kings Bay, GA. The CSET provides technical services across all construction phases and coordinates with the contractor, Navy clients, and base personnel.

Responsibilities include QA plans, CCRs, field coordination, meetings, documentation in eCMS, and ensuring compliance with contract documents and safety requirements.

Formación

• Specialized training for Construction Quality Verification or equivalent course.
• Competent computer skills for network data entry.
• Proficiency in using computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively orally and in writing.
• Experience in maintaining official construction site records.
• Experience in conducting meetings to resolve problems on construction projects and briefing clients and management personnel.
• In depth knowledge of construction practices and workmanship, including experience in proper uses of construction materials and installation methods
• In depth experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications on construction projects.
• Experience in making materials take-offs for construction work.
• Ability and experience in the inspection of materials, workmanship and construction and installation of various systems within the inspector’s area of expertise.
• Knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry, including a background of familiarity with USACE (EM-385-1-1) and OSHA safety requirements.
• Completed the 30 Hour OSHA Construction Training within the past 2 years.
• Must hold a certificate in USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractors Training (maintain valid 5-year certificate) or obtain certification within 60 days of onboarding.
• U.S. Citizen.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate Requests from Construction Contractor and outages, permits, routes with ROICC and base personnel.
• Coordinate field activities with Navy clients and base personnel to ensure seamless construction operations.
• Attend Pre-Construction, Safety, Contractor QC, Partnering and other meetings; take notes and brief ROICC representatives.
• Develop Quality Assurance Plans for projects and track progress.
• Prepare Construction Representatives Reports (CCRs) and nonconformity notices as needed.
• Ensure contractor QC system complies with contract documents and safety requirements, draft CCCNs when needed.
• Capture and maintain progress, record, and field photographs for documentation in eCMS.
• Maintain Working Files and electronic submittals in NAVFAC’s eCMS system.
