Bristol Alliance of Companies seeks a Construction Surveillance Engineer to support NAVFAC SE HQ, PWD, and ROICC offices in Florida. You will manage inspection, QA, ESS compliance, and contract administration across repair, demolition, and new construction projects.

The role requires 7+ years of relevant experience, strong scheduling and cost-management skills, and certification in CQM or the ability to obtain within 60 days.

Qualifications

• . Minimum 7 years of experience as Construction Manager, Field Engineer, Project Engineer or Quality Control Manager on facilities >$5M.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate outage requests, permits, haul routes and similar items.
• Attend meetings; take notes and brief FEAD/ROICC representatives.
• Provide construction briefings and reports.
• Review submittals for Government approval.
• Review construction schedule and notes on progress, safety plan and CQC plan.
• Monitor CQC compliance with contract and submitted plans.
• Prepare CRRs and CCCCNs.
• Report non-compliance with safety requirements.
• Monitor environmental protection, measurements, surveying and materials testing.
• Witness testing of systems (waste, gas, water, electrical, HVAC, fire protection, elevators).
• Review daily CQC and CPRs; update submittal logs.
• Assist field pay estimate worksheet with contractor.
• Notify leadership of disagreements or major problems.
• Assist pre-final inspections.
• Advise on modification negotiations.
• Maintain working files in eCMS.
• Prepare independent construction cost estimates for modifications and impact narratives.
• Provide construction photographic and record drawing services.
• Perform constructability reviews and spot checks on plans.
• RFI management.
