Job summary

BB&E Consulting Engineers and Professionals seeks a Construction Surveillance Engineer to support NAVFAC Southeast Headquarters, Public Works Departments, and the ROICC in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on construction inspection, QA/QC, safety compliance, contract administration, and coordination with the FEAD/ROICC and contractor teams.

Responsibilities include reviewing submittals and schedules, preparing CRRs/CCCNs, and monitoring environmental and safety requirements across diverse

Qualifications

• Experience supporting NAVFAC or federal construction projects.
• Ability to review and analyze construction schedules and contractor submittals.
• Proven ability to manage field inspections, QA/QC, and safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Provide management support for construction inspection, QA/QC, and contract administration on repair, demolition, and new construction projects.
• Coordinate outage requests, permits, haul routes, and related site logistics.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and brief FEAD/ROICC or representatives.
• Prepare construction reports and cost estimates; review submittals for government approval.
