Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support Fort Hood, TX.

The on-site QA professional will monitor contractor performance, ensure contract compliance, verify construction quality, and support successful project delivery from pre-construction through project closeout. The role requires strong documentation, experience with federal construction projects, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/USACE) preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EM 385-1-1 is a plus.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect construction activities for compliance with plans, specs, schedules, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities and contractor performance using RMS and other systems.
• Monitor schedules and advise the project team of delays or performance concerns.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, quality control plans, safety plans, and progress schedules.
• Assist with RFIs and coordination with designers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, and contract issues.
• Maintain project records, logs, and documentation.
• Support project meetings and closeout activities.
