Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Control Representative to support projects at Fort Hood, TX. The role serves as the on-site quality assurance representative, monitoring contractor performance and ensuring contract compliance from pre-construction through closeout.

The candidate will perform daily site inspections, review submittals, and coordinate with designers, engineers, and stakeholders. Strong documentation and OSHA/EM 385-1-1 knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on large, complex construction projects.
• Experience with federal construction projects (DoD/USACE) preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EM 385-1-1 Safety requirements preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain access to military installations.

Responsibilities

• Observe construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules and safety requirements.
• Perform daily site inspections and document project activities using RMS and other systems.
• Monitor schedules and advise on delays or performance concerns.
• Review submittals, shop drawings, and safety/environmental plans.
• Prepare correspondence on contractor performance, REAs, and contract issues.
• Conduct QA inspections across all construction phases and verify three-phase QC.
