Job summary

CSM Corporation is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead owner representation and on-site construction management for commercial and residential projects in Minneapolis. You will ensure projects stay on time and within budget, coordinating with internal teams and external contractors from preliminary design through closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field required.
• 3+ years experience in real estate management focusing on construction coordination.
• Experience with new construction and renovations in lodging, multi-family, or commercial sectors preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and oral communication across all levels of stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and scheduling software; knowledge of codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage owner representation and construction management of projects within the CSM real estate portfolio.
• Oversee tenant improvements, capital projects, and maintenance/ repair projects from design to closeout.
• Develop and track project budgets, schedules, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate bid processes, review bids, and monitor contract compliance.
• Communicate project status and risks with leadership and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, municipal, and brand standards.
