Aureate Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for ongoing commercial projects in Tampa, FL. You will lead budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client relations to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, managing contracts and change orders, reviewing drawings, and maintaining thorough project documentation while acting as the main client contact.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proven experience managing commercial projects valued from $1M-$50M+.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract administration, including RFPs, bid analysis, and change orders.
• Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, building regulations, and safety standards.
• Review construction documents and shop drawings for accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed documentation, including daily reports, meeting minutes, and close-out packages.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, contract negotiations and client relationships while delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget,

Position Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in commercial construction project management
• Proven experience managing commercial projects valued from $1M-$50M+
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project, P6, Autodesk, Bluebeam)
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction documents
• OSHA 30 certification required
• PMP or CCM certification is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
• Financial and contractual acumen
• Collaborative, team-first mindset with strong client-service orientation
