Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field or equivalent.
• At least 5 years commercial construction experience.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• Reads blueprints accurately and understands codes and design requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication; Spanish basics preferred.
• Monitors progress and coordinates work; strong organization and time management.
• Knows subcontractors' scopes and tolerances; maintains ethics and professionalism.
• Shows initiative and teamwork; uses data to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction and staffing.
• Works with Project Manager on schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Coordinates pre-construction meetings before mobilization.
• Directs procurement of tools and materials to meet schedules.
• Keeps all parties informed on construction progress and issues.
• Manages project by reports, materials, and costs; adjusts schedules.
• Moves personnel between projects to minimize layoffs and manage costs.
• Prepares the Project Management Plan with the Project Manager.
• Ensures safety, quality standards, and housekeeping are maintained.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
