Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Superintendent to independently supervise an area of trade contractors on a multi-million dollar project. The role is on-site daily and critical to meeting the project schedule and quality requirements.

You will work within a collaborative project team, upholding safety and value-driven outcomes. This position offers growth opportunities across a family-owned, well-established firm with extensive training resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 4-8 years of experience on $15-$30 million or larger projects in a superintendent role.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C Certification; First Aid/CPR/Stop the Bleed training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade partners and subcontractors to meet schedule and quality.
• Develops and communicates field work plans; maintains project schedules and documents.
• Leads safety, conducts meetings, and fosters a productive team environment.
• Oversees quality plans, inspections, and implementation of necessary changes.
• Mentors junior field engineers and supports buyout and scopes of work.
