Job summary

Sun Communities in Napa, CA is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee overall operation, financial performance, and resident satisfaction within the community. You will serve as the primary point of contact for residents and be on-call 24/7.

Responsibilities include marketing, leasing, sales of homes, budgeting, and ensuring policy compliance. The role requires supervisory leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and on-site housing is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Hospitality, or Business is preferred.
• 2 years of property management experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role, is required.
• 6 months of sales and leasing experience is required.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Market models, pre-owned, and brokered homes for sale and prepare documents to list and sell homes.
• Manage rent collection, including posting and depositing income and collecting delinquent accounts.
• Handle delinquencies and eviction proceedings following company policies.
• Monitor and approve invoices for operating expenses and sales-related costs.
• Resolve complaints promptly and provide solutions aligned with guidelines.
• Coordinate team selection, development, and ensure policy compliance.
• Oversee leasing, sales, refurbishments, re-leasing, closings, and service follow-ups for LPPs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local fair housing laws and community operations.
