Job summary

Asset Living in California is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community, reporting to the Regional Manager. As an on-site leader, you will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk, and ensure compliance with company policies, safety guidelines, and fair housing standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or higher, CAM or ARM certification preferred, and experience in property management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations for the housing community.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Manage leasing, marketing plans, and resident relations.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety standards.
