Job summary

Asset Living in Mapleton, UT seeks a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community under the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management on-site.

As on-site leader, you will supervise staff, ensure compliance with Fair Housing, safety, and company policies; develop annual operating budgets, marketing plans, and resident retention programs while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in housing; or equivalent.
• CAM or ARM certification preferred.
• Ability to use on-site software; basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management
• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff
• Provide ongoing training, coaching, and guidance per Asset benchmarks
• Create weekly/daily staff schedules for office and maintenance
• Address performance problems and document appropriately with HR
• Promote harmony and high performance among staff
• Ensure policy compliance across the team
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges
• Oversee vendor invoices and coding for timely processing
• Ensure timely property closeouts and accurate financial reports
• Develop yearly marketing plans and implement strategies
• Utilize leasing techniques to achieve closures and accurate reporting
• Handle resident complaints and retention initiatives
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents
• Maintain reporting accuracy for administration and leasing
• Lead emergency response at the property with staff and residents
