Job summary

Ascentia in Sanford, NC seeks a Community Manager to lead daily operations of the Manufactured Housing Community, implement the executive vision, and build a strong on-site team to deliver excellent resident service.

You will manage rent collection, marketing, occupancy, capital projects, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards; experience in Yardi and multi-family housing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in building and leading teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site operations and resident relations; ensure timely responses to requests and maintenance.
• Manage rent collection, reporting, budgeting, and expense control.
• Lead marketing and occupancy efforts to maximize revenue and occupancy.
• Coordinate capital projects and vendor management; ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Build and supervise on-site team; hire, train and evaluate staff.
• Prepare property reports and maintain accurate recordkeeping.
