Job summary

Sun Communities seeks an on-site Community Manager in Sanford, Florida to oversee daily operations, financial performance and resident satisfaction. You will be the primary contact for residents and coordinate administration, marketing, leasing and the sale of homes, while managing maintenance and budgeting to ensure a positive living environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with fair housing laws, reviewing residency applications, and leading a team to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years property management experience, including 2 years supervisory experience.
• 6 months in sales and leasing experience.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English and Spanish.
• General knowledge of maintenance.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email and internet.
• Valid driver7s license.

Responsibilities

• Markets models, pre-owned & brokered homes for sale; prepares documents to list and sell homes.
• Manages rent collection including posting and depositing income; collects delinquent debts.
• Handles delinquencies and eviction proceedings per policy.
• Monitors and approves invoices for operating expenses and sales costs.
• Resolves complaints and responds to issues promptly with guideline-based solutions.
• Coordinates team selection, development, and policy compliance.
• Oversees LPPs, repairs, leasing, sales, refurbishments, re-leasing and follow-up on service requests.
• Ensures compliance with fair housing laws and employment regulations.
• Reviews residency applications and approvals/denials.
• Initiates lease renewals and rent increase notices.
