Job summary

Asset Living in Wingate, NC is seeking a Community Manager to oversee operations of an on-site housing community, including leasing, maintenance, and staff supervision. You will lead the onsite team, ensure compliance with fair housing and company policies, and manage budgetary reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in affordable housing, knowledge of LIHTC/HUD programs, and a proven ability to develop leasing plans and resident retention initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on‑site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel Management and on-site staff supervision.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and forecasts.
• Plan marketing strategies and leasing plans to optimize occupancy.
• Respond to resident concerns and ensure tenant satisfaction.
