Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager for an on-site role in Texas. You will oversee all operations of a housing community, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing standards.

Strong leadership and financial oversight are essential to drive occupancy, leasing, and resident satisfaction. The position requires on-site presence, collaboration with regional leadership, and a focus on budgets, leasing plans, and risk management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and on-site staff development.
• Regular/daily on-site attendance is required.
• Ensure staff are screened, hired, trained, coached, and developed.
• Maintain compliance with Asset policies and fair housing guidelines.
