Job summary

RPM Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee an apartment community in Allen, TX. You will lead staff, manage leasing, and maintain strong resident relations with a focus on service excellence.

The role includes budgeting, financial reporting, and coordinating with maintenance, while ensuring occupancy goals and revenue targets are met; schedule includes weekdays, nights, and weekends as needed to support operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 1–2 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of related multi-family property management experience
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Team player, professional, and effective communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software

Responsibilities

• Lead property staff, conduct interviews, onboarding, training, timesheet approval, and annual assessments
• Drive team to achieve performance indicators, provide feedback, and manage disciplinary actions with HR
• Conduct ongoing training on leasing paperwork, safety, and daily operations
• Motivate associates through recognition programs, training, and team-building activities
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence to budgets
• Complete month-end and year-end financial reporting with variance reporting
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention by addressing complaints promptly
• Collaborate with maintenance to ensure timely resident service responses
• Provide excellent customer service while upholding service standards
• Analyze market trends and partner with marketing on leasing strategies to hit occupancy/revenue goals
• Follow eviction procedures including notices, court representation, and proceedings as needed
• Manage client/owner relationships with updates and tours
